Matt Swick is a singer/songwriter that has played in a variety of local bands in Northeast Indiana for over a decade. Swick has played in bands such as Midwest Express, Cosmic Charlie, Loveboat Sushi, and Momma Ain't Home, as well as a large number of solo performances.

 

Garry Jones has been playing percussion and harmonica in a variety of bands for several decades. Jones has previously played drums for the Martin Brothers Blues Band, Steve Squires Band, and has played with GHF (formerly Petra), among many other acts. He currently plays blues harp for Big Daddy Dupree and the Broke and Hungry Blues Band.

 

About Swick & Jones

Matt Swick and Garry Jones have been performing tunes together since 2008-09. Having met at the Brew'Ha Coffee House in Columbia City, IN, both musicians have been heavily involved in the thriving music scene in Fort Wayne and the surrounding area. Swick and Jones bring together elements of folk, blues, Americana, rock, and pop music for a wonderful blend of music that anyone can enjoy.

 

Matt Swick plays guitar (primarily acoustic), sings, and writes a large number of the original songs featured by Swick & Jones.

 

Garry Jones is a jack-of-all-trades, and master of all. Jones plays cajone, djembe, and a wealth of other percussion instruments. Additionally, Jones lends years of experience in blues harp and is known to add sweet vocal harmonies to the mix.
